Calorie Restriction gets organized

The Calorie Restriction Society was mentioned on 60-Minutes this week. Studies in animals indicate that following a restricted calorie diet will significantly reduce age related diseases, extend youthfulness and improving the quality of life. Live longer and better!

Another website to check out is Living the CR Way. They claim to help you avoid the onset of age-associated illness until at least the age of 80.

Approximately what level of severity of restriction of food do you think you'd be willing to adhere to?

  • Mild - Won't have to put up with much hunger at all
  • Moderate - Might need to fight hunger at several points during the day
  • As much as it takes to live as long as possible - Will be hungry often.
